Okay, I really wasn't sure where to put this in the paintings section, so it's in misc. This is, for those who don't recognize them, the great Hayao Miyazaki and John Lasseter of Pixar. The assignment for this piece was to take a painting and make it "contemporary". So I took a Picasso painting, "Mother and Child" and substitute the Mother for Miyazaki and the Child for Lasseter. And I threw in a Totoro. Which, by the way, is one of the cutest movies in the world. Again, a portfolio piece. I hope you like it! Painted in acrylic. - Ari |
